Voith IHI Paper Technology is a joint venture of Voith AG in Germany
and IHI Ltd. in Japan that was founded in 2001. Together, we have
enjoyed many exciting achievements. The successful start ups and
accomplishments of our projects in both our domestic export markets show
a remarkable track record in terms of reliability, innovation and workmanship.
Today, out of one location in our head office in Tokyo, we offer the

In Voith IHI Paper Technology you will always find the right partner for any kind of paper-related business, from spare parts over any kind of machine rebuilds up to complete new paper production lines.
In addition to the vast possibilities to run trials in the Voith R&D centers located in Germany, our R&D facility in Motomiya also runs trials with the latest stock preparation equipment. Furthermore, in our pilot coaters, we can offer trials with the latest coating concepts. Our renowned IntensaPulper, a product of our Motomiya R&D center, led to Voith having earned the “Sasaki Award” from Japan TAPPI. The new pulping concept can save up to 25% of the energy formerly needed for pulping and thus substantially reduces papermaking costs.
We plan to further extend our scope of products and services with the
latest developments of Voith, suchas the Environmental Solution group, which offers new wastewater clarification systems and energy conservationsolutions. We remain committed to innovation and providing reliable services while working hand in hand with our customers.
